The Publications Division of Higher Education Commission (HEC) is engaged in disseminating information, promoting awareness and understanding of different initiatives taken by HEC in order to uplift the higher education sector of the country. Although the Division has to perform a number of functions, its portfolio mainly comprises of publication of monthly magazine 'HEC News and Views'. In addition to the HEC Magazine, the Publication Division is responsible for developing an Annual Report of HEC which it has been doing since the inception of the organization. It has also devised the "Handbook of Universities of Pakistan 2005". The Publication Division also participates with private sector agencies to hold Exhibitions for the Education Sector. In the past two years, it has collaborated with Dawn News Group and Jang Group for holding Exhibitions in the major cities of Pakistan whereby the students are informed of HEC activities and queries pertaining to IT and Attestation and Scholarship Programs. In routine activities it develops brochures, leaflets and such other publicity material for HEC.

News & Views Magazine

	Published every month, News and Views, is Higher Education Commission’s in house magazine which brings its readers news of progress in the higher education sector, Commission activities and achievements as well as updates of happenings at public and private sector universities all over the country...

	HEC’s Press Office issues regular press releases to the print and electronic media about its ongoing programs as well special coverage of distinctive events held at the Commission Secretariat and its regional centres in Peshawar, Karachi and Lahore...

HEC Publication

	The Higher Education Commission houses a printing press that caters to most of its publications. Advertisements & Tenders

	Higher Education Commission places advertisements of all its programs and projects, vacancy announcements and tenders in national Urdu and English newspapers to invite applications from those eligible. Similar detailed information is also available on the HEC and PPRA websites...
