Higher Education Commission in collaboration with Microsoft has been providing university students with the opportunity to take an exam and become a Microsoft Office Specialist, free of cost under Prime Minister Laptops Scheme. The students can add this certification to their list of achievements; hence be more employable. Furthermore, we are pleased to inform that this year opportunity has been opened for all students including laptops recipients and non-recipients, how students could register & apply for exam the following steps would be required:
Registration process to apply for Exam?
Under these project 100+ testing centers have been established https://www.teceducationfoundation.org.pk/catcs-network/, in these link the students can find the testing centers and administrator details. Steps to follow for registration:
- All the students are requested to kindly receive MOS vouchers from university focal persons, Once students receive the Voucher then students will be required to do exam preparation, course of contents and mode of exam information can be obtained from (https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Microsoft/MOS/Practice (Note, Under MOS certification there are 5 MS-office components i.e. "Word", "Excel", "Power Point", "Access" and "Outlook" One MOS vouchers can be used for one Component.)
- Proctor will admit the candidate in the desire application by using the 16 digits Voucher code given in the card.
- After completion of Exam, result will appear on the screen and the same result will be shown on student portal of Certiport.com
